Fintech is an emerging engineering discipline that aims to teach students to apply the latest technology, especially information technology and data science, to solve various challenging problems in the financial services industry. Through four years of comprehensive study, students will be able to obtain financial and management insights from big data, be able to design and implement innovative solutions to meet the needs of financial services, be able to optimize financial decision-making in a complex business environment, and be able to Understand and analyze the social, economic, safety and regulatory impacts of their programs. Through cooperation with Peking University, we have also opened a dual degree program, where graduates can obtain both a bachelor of engineering in financial technology and a bachelor of science in financial mathematics.
