The Nutrition BSc degree is a three-year course where you will study modules totalling 360 credits.
In your first year, you will study introductory modules covering physiology for nutrition students, fundamental areas of biochemistry, nutrition, food science and technologies as well as genetics and molecular biology.
In your second and third years, you will focus on nutrition and health, food habits and research methods relating to health sciences, we also offer a broad range of optional modules, allowing you the freedom to develop your study pathway to reflect your interests.
In your second year you can also apply for a paid extra-mural placement within the food industry or research institution that will provide you with unique opportunities to develop your research skills.
